Oil, Lubricating; item 6, Appx E
Packing, Preformed (1)
Locknut, M5 (2)
REMOVE/DISASSEMBLE
1.
Remove air cleaner (Para. 4-27).
2.
Remove muffler (Para. 4-31).
Remove valve cover (Para. 4-33).
3.
Disconnect high pressure fuel line and

return line from fuel injector (Para. 4-29).
Remove fuel injector (Para. 5-4).

Remove rocker arms and push rods
6.

Remove the two lock nuts (1), flat wash-
ers (2), and retaining spring (3).
Remove four hex nuts (4), flat washers (5)

and lift bracket (6).
Remove the cylinder head (7) from top of the

cylinder.
10 Remove push rod tube (8) and preformed
packing (9) from cylinder head (7).
11. If cylinder head is to be replaced remove the
valves (Para. 5-9).
