connected.
2. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
3. At MSD, check for active
600-8 Hydraulic Oil Temperature
diagnostic codes (WP 0008).
Sensor Abnormal Signal Becomes
Inactive Troubleshooting complete.
600-8 Hydraulic Oil Temperature
Sensor Abnormal Signal Remains
Active Replace transmission/chassis
ECM (WP 0495).
Proceed to Test Step 18.
Test Step 14. Test Cushion Hitch
Wiring Harness for High Resistance
or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal A and terminal B
of connector C-C5
(WP 0012, Figure 132).
3. Disconnect connector A-C6
(WP 0012, Figure 134)
from connector C-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 133).
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 15.
between connector C-C1
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 5 and terminal 7
Replace cushion hitch wiring harness
(WP 0012, Figure 133).

Proceed to Test Step 18.
