Test Step 1. Inspect Transmission
Incorrect Signal Continued Speed Sensor B for Damage.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Remove three bolts
(Figure 1, Item 3), washers
(Figure 1, Item 2), and cover
(Figure 1, Item 1) from machine.

3. Disconnect connector A-C17
(WP 0012, Figure 118) from
transmission speed sensor B
connector (WP 0012, Figure 117).
4. Inspect transmission speed sensor
Sensor Damaged Replace
B for damage (WP 0288).

Proceed to Test Step 22.
