Straighten bent tab on locking tab and loosen the
castle nut.

With screwdriver turn the adjusting screw counter-
clockwise until head is against the control arm.

Insert screwdriver tip between the governor
weights and push to one side to open the weights
as far as they will go. Hold this position, while
turning the adjusting screw clockwise until the
screw head contacts the governor pin and no end
play of the governor pin is felt.
Grasp the speed control lever (2), and pull out
