REMOVAL CONTINUED
7. Remove bearing (Figure 4, Item 3) from wheel (Figure 4, Item 1).
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Rear wheel and brake rotor assembly weighs 925 lb (420 kg).
8. Using lifting device, remove rear wheel (Figure 4, Item 1) from rear axle housing (Figure 4, Item 4). Lower
wheel onto flat surface.
9. Remove lifting device and sling (Figure 4, Item 2) from rear wheel (Figure 4, Item 1).
NOTE
Only remove bearing, oil seal, and brake drum if replacing wheel.
10. Remove bearing and oil seal from wheel (WP 0370).
11. Remove brake drum from wheel (WP 0339).
