Normal Continued
(Figure 3, Item 3), and splash
shield (Figure 3, Item 4) from
machine.

4. Disconnect connector CM-C9
(WP 0012, Figure 26) from oil
pressure sensor connector
(WP 0012, Figure 25).
5. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
6. At MSD, check for active
100-3 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
diagnostic code 100-4 Engine Oil
Voltage Above Normal Becomes
Pressure Sensor Voltage Below
Active Replace oil pressure sensor
Normal (WP 0008).
(WP 0187).
Proceed to Test Step 4.
100-4 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
Voltage Below Normal Remains
Active Proceed to Test Step 3.
Test Step 3. Test for Shorted Basic
Engine Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect connector CL-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 45) from engine
ECM.
