3. Disconnect the following:
0100-03 Engine Oil Pressure
a. Connector AW-C1
Sensor Voltage Above
Normal Continued
(WP 0012, Figure 36) from fuel
pressure sensor connector
(WP 0012, Figure 35).
b. Connector CM-C7
(WP 0012, Figure 22)
from intake air pressure
sensor connector
(WP 0012, Figure 21).
c.
Connector CM-C4
(WP 0012, Figure 16)
from atmospheric pressure
sensor connector
(WP 0012, Figure 15).
d. Connector CM-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 30)
from engine ECM.
4. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Replace engine ECM (WP 0252).
between connector CM-C1
Proceed to Test Step 7.
terminal 17 and terminal 72
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
(WP 0012, Figure 30).
Replace basic engine wiring harness
(WP 0251).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
Test Step 3. Test Oil Pressure Sensor
Signal Circuit Voltage.
Using digital multimeter (WP 0540),
Voltage Greater Than 12.5 V
test for voltage between connector
Proceed to Test Step 4.
CM-C9 terminal 3 and terminal 2
Voltage 12.5 V or Less Proceed to
(WP 0012, Figure 26).
Test Step 5.
Test Step 4. Test for Shorted Basic
Engine Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect connector CL-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 45) from engine
ECM.
3. Disconnect connector CM-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 30) from engine
ECM.
