Test Step 5.Test Oil Pressure Sensor
Signal Circuit Function.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 3 and terminal 2
of connector CM-C9
(WP 0012, Figure 26).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. At MSD, check for active
100-4 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
diagnostic code 100-4 Engine Oil
Voltage Below Normal Becomes
Pressure Sensor Voltage Below
Active Replace oil pressure sensor
Normal (WP 0008).
(WP 0187).
Proceed to Test Step 7.
100-3 Engine Oil Pressure Sensor
Voltage Above Normal Remains
Active Proceed to Test Step 6.
Test Step 6. Test Basic Engine
Wiring Harness for High Resistance
or Open.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Do not remove jumper wire from
terminal 3 and terminal 2
of connector CM-C9
(WP 0012, Figure 26).
