Using dial indicator, verify the camshaft has
proper backlash and end play.
A = 0.005 to 0.018 in. (0.12 to 0.47 mm)
B = 0.003 to 0.013 in. (0.076 to 0.330 mm)

Remove the wooden dowels (7) from the
tappets.

Install two push rods (8) and lubricate with
lubricating oil.
