Cleaning/Inspection.
Clean the gasket material from the cylinder block.

Installation.
NOTE
When properly trimmed, the gear
housing gasket should be even
with the lubricating oil pan
gasket when installed.
(1)
Position the gasket (3) on the alignment
dowels (5).
(2)
Trim off excess gear housing gasket (3).
