Install two screws (7) and thrust plate (8).
Tighten screws to 18 lb-ft (24 N.m).

Remove engine turnover tool (5) from
engine (4).

Install cover (3) on engine (4).

Follow-On Maintenance:
Install fuel pump, (TM 9-4940-568-20).
Install front gear cover, (Para 5-14).
Install drive belt, (TM 9-4940-568-20).
Install rocker arms, (TM 9-4940-568-20).
Remove engine from stand, (Para 7-2).
Install engine, (Para 5-4).
Start generator set and operate the engine at idle for 5 to 10 minutes and check for leaks,
(TM 9-4940-568-10).
