4-27. AIR CLEANER MAINTENANCE INSTRUCTIONS - Continued
1.
If stud (3 or 4) were removed from cylinder head,
install the studs and tighten securely.
2.
Install two gaskets (5) on studs and seat next to
the intake flange of cylinder head.
3.
Install the air cleaner (2) onto the studs (3 and 4)
and seat firmly against gaskets (5).

Secure the air cleaner (2) with two hex nuts (1),
noting that the nut on the right also secures the
clamp on the throttle cable. Tighten nuts securely
NOTE
Follow-on tasks include. Return compactor
to service.
