Note position of brackets, baffles, and insulation to aid in installation.
9. Remove 25 caps (Figure 11, Item 1) and five insulation panels (Figure 11, Item 3) from hood
(Figure 11, Item 2). Discard caps.
10. Using 3/16" drill bit, drill out 11 pop rivets (Figure 11, Item 4), four brackets (Figure 11, Item 5), and baffle
(Figure 11, Item 6) from hood (Figure 11, Item 2). Discard pop rivets.
11. Using 3/16" drill bit, drill out five pop rivets (Figure 11, Item 9), bracket (Figure 11, Item 8), and baffle
(Figure 11, Item 7) from hood (Figure 11, Item 2). Discard pop rivets.
12. Remove eight nuts (Figure 11, Item 11) and lockwashers (Figure 11, Item 12) from studs (Figure 11, Item 10).
Discard lockwashers.
13. Remove two latches (Figure 11, Item 13) from hood (Figure 11, Item 4).
