WARNING
Use caution when using adhesives and sealants. Prolonged inhalation of vapors can
cause lung irritation. Contact with skin can cause dermatitis. Wear gloves and safety
goggles and use product in a well-ventilated area away from open flame. If ingested, keep
individual calm and seek medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting. If contact with skin
or eyes is made, flush thoroughly with water. Dispose of cleanup rags IAW local policy and
ordinances.
4. Apply sealant to back of solar panel (Figure 16, Item 7).
5. Install solar panel (Figure 16, Item 7), four washers (Figure 16, Item 6), and bolts (Figure 16, Item 5) on hood
(Figure 16, Item 4).
6. Apply sealant around all sides of the solar panel (Figure 16, Item 7).
NOTE
Route and install cable as noted during removal.
Hood weighs approximately 190 lb (86 kg).
7. Install 24-volt pulse receptacle unit (Figure 16, Item 11) and solar panel cable (Figure 16, Item 12) on hood
(Figure 16, Item 4).
8. Install plate (Figure 16, Item 10), two washers (Figure 16, Item 9), and bolts (Figure 16, Item 8) on hood
(Figure 16, Item 4).
9. Install three link brackets (Figure 16, Item 3), washers (Figure 16, Item 2), and bolts (Figure 16, Item 1) on
hood (Figure 16, Item 4).
10. Install suitable lifting device on link brackets (Figure 16, Item 3).
