NATO SLAVE RECEPTACLE INSTALLATION CONTINUED
NOTE
Negative cable attaches to bottom of NATO slave receptacle. Positive cable attaches to
top of NATO slave receptacle.
Route and install cables and terminals as noted during removal.
4. Install positive battery cable (Figure 24, Item 7) on top of NATO slave receptacle (Figure 24, Item 5).
NOTE
Perform step 5 only if machine is equipped with arctic start aid.
Tag and mark all cables to aid in installation.
5. Install positive arctic start aid battery cable (Figure 24, Item 4) on top of NATO slave receptacle
(Figure 24, Item 5).
6. Install solargizer terminal (Figure 24, Item 3), new lockwasher (Figure 24, Item 6), and bolt (Figure 24, Item 2)
on top of NATO slave receptacle (Figure 24, Item 5).
7. Position cover (Figure 24, Item 1) on NATO slave receptacle (Figure 24, Item 5).
