COOLANT LEVEL CHECK CONTINUED
2. If it is necessary to add coolant, slowly loosen cooling system cap (Figure 5, Item 2) to relieve system
pressure. Remove cooling system cap (Figure 5, Item 2).
3. Fill cooling system to bottom of filler tube (Figure 5, Item 3). Adding coolant above bottom of filler tube will
cause coolant to overflow cooling system.
4. Maintain coolant level between top of sight glass (Figure 5, Item 4) and bottom of filler tube (Figure 5, Item 3).
5. Inspect cooling system cap seal for debris, foreign material, or damage. Clean radiator filler cap with a clean
cloth. Replace cooling system cap if damaged.
6. Install cooling system cap on upper coolant tank (Figure 5, Item 1).
