(2)Remove two thru bolts (4) from commutatorend frame (5).(3)Remove two brush plate screws (6) fromcommutator end frame (5) and brush holderassembly (7).(4)Remove commutator end frame (5) andpreformed packing (8) from brush holderassembly (7). Discard preformed packing.NOTEUse care not to lose the smalldowel pin installed between theframe and field assembly and thegear reduction and drive group.The dowel pin is required forassembly and must be saved. Ifthe dowel pin is lost, it must bereplaced (Appendix C).Before disassembly, mark thedowel pin location in the gearreduction and drive group and theframe and field assembly.(5)Remove the frame and field assembly (9),dowel pin (10) and frame seal (11) fromdrive housing (12). Discard frame seal.
