Oil Filter (1)

Unit maintenance service functions for the engine
consist of changing oil and changing of the oil fil-
ter
Change engine oil and engine oil filter after Initial

20 hours operation and every 100 hours opera-
tion as follows:
a. Place a drain pan next to the compactor un-
der the engine drain plug.
b. Remove oil drain plug (1), and drain off the
engine oil. Dispose of used engine oil in ac-
cordance with local policy.
c.
Install the oil drain plug (1). Wipe spilled oil
from around the drain plug and drain trough
of compactor
d . Wipe around the oil fill plug (2)
e. Remove the oil fill plug (2) with a 13 mm
open end wrench.
f.
Use a rag to grasp the oil filter (4) and un-
thread from fitting on front side of engine.
Turn oil filter counterclockwise to remove.
