CAUTION
Do not allow leveling valve rod to rotate during adjustment. Failure to follow this caution
will cause damage to equipment.
1. Loosen jam nut (Figure 29, Item 5) and allow washer (Figure 29, Item 4) to disengage notch
(Figure 29, Item 6) in clevis (Figure 29, Item 7).
2. Remove cotter pin (Figure 29, Item 3) and pivot (Figure 29, Item 2) from leveling valve rod (Figure 29, Item 1)
and clevis (Figure 29, Item 7). Discard cotter pin.
3. Turn clevis (Figure 29, Item 7) counterclockwise to increase load cylinder rod extension, clockwise to decrease
load cylinder rod extension.
4. Install pivot (Figure 29, Item 2) and new cotter pin (Figure 29, Item 3) on clevis (Figure 29, Item 7) and leveling
valve rod (Figure 29, Item 1).
5. Engage washer (Figure 29, Item 4) in notch (Figure 29, Item 6) on clevis (Figure 29, Item 7) tighten jam nut
(Figure 29, Item 5).
6. Repeat measurement.
