WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Transmission guard assembly weighs approximately 165 lb (75 kg).
Note size and location of bolts prior to removal to aid in installation.
1. Position transmission jack (Figure 1, Item 6) under transmission guard assembly (Figure 1, Item 1).
Support transmission guard assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) with transmission jack (Figure 1, Item 6).
2. Secure transmission guard assembly (Figure 1, Item 1) to transmission jack (Figure 1, Item 6) with strap
(Figure 1, Item 2).
3. Remove five bolts (Figure 1, Item 3) and washers (Figure 1, Item 4) from bottom transmission guard
(Figure 1, Item 1) and machine (Figure 1, Item 5).
