CRANKCASE PLATE RAISING

WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Crankcase plate weighs approximately 130 lb (59 kg).
1. With assistance, using transmission jack (Figure 14, Item 4), raise crankcase plate (Figure 14, Item 1)
into position on machine.
2. Install six bushings (Figure 14, Item 2) and bolts (Figure 14, Item 3) on crankcase plate (Figure 14, Item 1).
3. Remove transmission jack (Figure 14, Item 4) from crankcase plate (Figure 14, Item 1).
