REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Flange weighs 80 lb (36 kg).
Ring weighs 93 lb (42 kg).
41. With assistance, using suitable machine with fork attachment (Figure 10, Item 5) and two wood blocks
(Figure 10, Item 1), press tire side wall (Figure 10, Item 2) inward on wheel (Figure 10, Item 4).
42. Turn off machine with fork attachment (Figure 10, Item 5).
43. Separate ring (Figure 10, Item 3) from flange (Figure 10, Item 6).
44. Remove forklift (Figure 10, Item 5) and two wood blocks (Figure 10, Item 1) from tire side wall
(Figure 10, Item 2).
