REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Ensure any lifting device used is in good condition and of
suitable load capacity. Keep clear of heavy parts supported only by lifting device. Failure
to follow this warning may result in injury or death to personnel.
NOTE
Flange weighs 80 lb (36 kg).
Ring weighs 93 lb (42 kg).
38. Using assistance and suitable machine with fork attachment with two wood blocks (Figure 9, Item 2), press tire
sidewall (Figure 9, Item 1) inward.
39. Turn off machine with fork attachment.
40. Separate ring (Figure 9, Item 4) from flange (Figure 9, Item 3).
41. Remove fork attachment and two wood blocks (Figure 9, Item 2).
