REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Wear rubber gloves and eye protection when applying rubber lubricant to tire. Failure to
follow this warning could result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Lockring compressor is supplied with two sets of center bar extensions. The set of center
bar extensions with a straight end is used in this procedure.
Assistance will be needed to hold lockring compressor in place while assembling tool on
tire/wheel assembly.
23. Lubricate tire bead (Figure 5, Item 3) with rubber lubricant.
24. Using assistance, position center bar (Figure 5, Item 4) on wheel (Figure 5, Item 5) with center bar extensions
(Figure 5, Item 2) behind lip (Figure 5, Item 6) on wheel.
25. Adjust center bar extensions (Figure 5, Item 2) to center threaded rod (Figure 5, Item 7) on wheel
(Figure 5, Item 5) and tighten two thumbscrews (Figure 5, Item 1).
