14. Apply sealing compound to
threads of hose (Figure 6, Item 1).
15. Connect hose (Figure 6, Item 1) to
fitting (Figure 6, Item 3) and tighten
tube nut (Figure 6, Item 2) on air
brake relay (Figure 6, Item 4).
16. Perform corrective action.
Control Air Pressure 95 psi (655 kPa)
or Greater Proceed to Test Step 6.
Control Air Pressure Below 95 psi
(655 kPa) Replace brake air control
valve (WP 0362).
Proceed to Test Step 12.

1. Loosen tube nut (Figure 7, Item 2)
and disconnect hose
(Figure 7, Item 7) from front air
brake relay (Figure 7, Item 1).
NOTE
Adaptor 8T-7911, valved nipple 6V-3966, and quick disconnect hose
177-7861 are from Gauge, Pressure Kit 1U-5482.
