Nipple 6V-3989 and quick disconnect hose 177-7861 are from Gauge,

Pressure Kit 1U-5482.
3. Install nipple (Figure 9, Item 6) on
fitting (Figure 9, Item 5).
4. Connect fitting (Figure 9, Item 5) to
hose (Figure 9, Item 2) and tighten
tube nut (Figure 9, Item 3).
5. Connect quick disconnect hose
(Figure 9, Item 1) to nipple
(Figure 9, Item 6).
6. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine
(TM 5-3805-296-10). Idle engine
for 20 minutes or until air pressure
gauge reads normal operating
pressure (TM 5-3805-296-10).
NOTE
System air pressure must be maintained during test. Control air pressure
will drop as system air pressure drops.
7. Monitor air pressure reading on
gauge (Figure 9, Item 4) while
assistant presses and holds brake
pedal for five seconds
(TM 5-3805-296-10). Record
reading as control air pressure.
8. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
9. Disconnect quick disconnect hose
(Figure 9, Item 1) from nipple
(Figure 9, Item 6).
10. Loosen tighten tube nut
(Figure 9, Item 3) and disconnect
fitting (Figure 9, Item 5) from hose
(Figure 9, Item 2).
11. Remove nipple (Figure 9, Item 6)
from fitting (Figure 9, Item 5).
