7. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
8. Disconnect quick disconnect hose
(Figure 11, Item 1) from valved
nipple (Figure 11, Item 2).
9. Loosen tube nut (Figure 11,
Item 4) and remove adaptor
(Figure 11, Item 3) from fitting
(Figure 11, Item 5).
10. Remove valved nipple
(Figure 11, Item 2) from adaptor
(Figure 11, Item 3).
11. Apply sealing compound to
threads of hose
(Figure 11, Item 7).
