WARNING
Engage Correctly
Sudden machine movement or release of air under pressure can cause
injury to persons on or near the machine.
Always wear eye protection when testing and adjusting air system and
brakes.
Wheels must remain chocked when testing and adjusting air system and
brakes.
Failure to follow these warnings may result in injury or death to
personnel.
Test Step 1. Check for Active Codes.
1. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Connect MSD (WP 0008).
3. At MSD, check for active

Diagnose and repair active diagnostic
code(s) (WP 0005).
Proceed to Test Step 12.
No Diagnostic Code(s) Active
Proceed to step 4.
4. At MSD, check for active event

2. Perform Compressed Air System
Air System Components OK
Inspection (WP 0176).
Proceed to Test Step 3.
Air System Components Damaged
or Leaking Perform repair or
replacement as required by
Compressed Air System Inspection
(WP 0176).
Proceed to Test Step 12.
