1. Remove jumper wire from
terminal 14 and terminal 18 of
connector AE-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 163).
2. Connect jumper wire between
terminal 21 and terminal 25 of
connector E-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 143).
3. Lower left frame access plate
(WP 0376).
4. Remove four bolts
(Figure 3, Item 1), washers
(Figure 3, Item 2), bushings
(Figure 3, Item 3), and splash
shield (Figure 3, Item 4) from
machine.

5. Disconnect connector E-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 142) from
connector J-C6
(WP 0012, Figure 141).
6. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 16.
