6. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Replace engine ECM (WP 0252).

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms

Replace basic engine wiring harness

Sensor Signal Circuit Voltage.
Using digital multimeter (WP 0540), test
Voltage Greater Than 12.5 V
for voltage between connector AW-C1
Proceed to Test Step 6.

Voltage 12.5 V or Less Proceed to

Filter Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect connector AW-C4
(WP 0012, Figure 34)
from connector CL-C9
(WP 0012, Figure 33).
3. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Replace fuel filter wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0233).
between connector AW-C4
Proceed to Test Step 13.
