1. Ensure all harness connectors are
connected.
2. Ensure valve cover is installed on
engine (WP 0182).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch to
ON position and start engine or
attempt to start engine
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. At MSD, check for active
6-6 Cylinder #6 Injector Current
diagnostic codes (WP 0008).
Above Normal Becomes Inactive
Proceed to step 5.
6-6 Cylinder #6 Injector Current
Above Normal Remains Active
Repeat troubleshooting from the
beginning.
5. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
6. If removed, install splash shield
(Figure 10, Item 4), four bushings
(Figure 10, Item 3), washers
(Figure 10, Item 2), and bolts
(Figure 10, Item 1) on machine.

7. If lowered, install left frame access
plate (WP 0376).
8. Troubleshooting complete.
