Swing drive brake removed.

Special Environmental Conditions
Cleanliness is extremely important when working
on hydraulic equipment. Clean all parts before
disassembly and work in a clean area.

Disassembly
NOTE
Note position of elbow (1) prior to
removal
to
ensure
proper
installation.
(1) Remove elbow (1).
(2) Remove piston assembly (2) and six
springs (3) from cylinder housing (4).
Discard springs (3).
(3) Remove backup ring (5) and preformed
packing (6) from piston (2). Discard
backup ring and preformed packing.
(4) Remove piston (2) from spacer (7).
(5) Remove backup ring (8) and preformed
packing (9) from spacer (7). Discard
backup ring and preformed packing.
(6) Remove
backup
ring
(10)
and
preformed packing (11) from spacer (7).
Discard backup ring and preformed
packing.
