3-4. FUEL SYSTEM PRIMING.
a.
Priming Low Pressure Fuel Lines and Fuel Filter.
Fuel is very flammable and can explode easily. To avoid serious injury or death, keep
fuel away from open fire and keep fire extinguisher within easy reach when working
with fuel. Do not work on fuel system when engine is hot. Fuel can be ignited by hot
engine.

Place drain pan under secondary fuel filter (1).
(2)
Open drain (2) on secondary fuel filter (1).
(3)
Operate hand lever (3) on fuel transfer pump (4) until fuel flowing from the fitting (5) is free of air.
(4)
Tighten drain (2) on secondary fuel filter (1).
