Section III. OPERATION UNDER USUAL CONDITIONS
2-4. TRANSPORT TO/FROM WORKSITE
a.
For transport over long distances or over ex-
tremely rough terrain, haul the compactor in a
suitable truck or trailer.
WARNING
Do not allow personnel to stand under a
hoisted compactor. injury or death may
occur should hoist or lifting sling fail
and the compactor fails.
b. A lifting point is provided at the top of the protec-
tion frame for the purpose of attaching a lifting de-
vice capable of lifting 400 pounds.
c.
For short distances of travel at the worksite, a
transport dolly is incorporated into the compactor.
Operate the transport dolly as follows:
