a. Disassembly.
(1)
Remove head gland (1) and cylinder rod (2) as one piece from cylinder barrel (3) using a crescent wrench.
(2)
Remove retaining ring (4) from end of cylinder rod (2).
(3)
Slide head gland (1) off of cylinder rod (2).
(4)
Remove O-ring (5) from head gland (1).
(5)
Remove seals (6 and 7) from head gland (1).
