WARNING
Nitrogen gas is highly compressed. Wear eye protection. Use care when releasing
pressure. Do not point nitrogen gas discharge line at personnel. Failure to follow these
warnings may result in injury or death to personnel.
3. Disconnect air hose (Figure 8, Item 7) from valve (Figure 8, Item 6).
4. Close valve (Figure 8, Item 6) by turning handle (Figure 8, Item 1) clockwise until handle stops.
5. Close fitting (Figure 8, Item 5) by turning handle (Figure 8, Item 4) counterclockwise until handle stops.
6. Connect fitting (Figure 8, Item 5) to hydraulic accumulator fitting (Figure 8, Item 3).
7. Open fitting (Figure 8, Item 5) by turning handle (Figure 8, Item 4) clockwise until handle stops.
8. Slowly open valve (Figure 8, Item 6) by turning handle (Figure 8, Item 1) counterclockwise.
9. When gauge (Figure 8, Item 2) reads 0 psi (0 kPa) and no nitrogen is being released from valve
(Figure 8, Item 6), close valve by turning handle (Figure 8, Item 1) clockwise until handle stops.
10. Connect air hose (Figure 8, Item 7) to valve (Figure 8, Item 6).
11. Close fitting (Figure 8, Item 5) by turning handle (Figure 8, Item 4) counterclockwise until handle stops.
12. Disconnect fitting (Figure 8, Item 5) from hydraulic accumulator fitting (Figure 8, Item 3).
