RIGHT FENDER BRACKET INSTALLATION

1. Install bracket (Figure 11, Item 1) on machine with three washers (Figure 11, Item 2) and new locknuts
(Figure 11, Item 3).
WARNING
Ensure that brake actuator yoke is clear of machine and personnel and release parking
brake to apply tension in brake actuator. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury
or death to personnel or damage to equipment.
2. Position brake actuator (Figure 11, Item 5) on bracket (Figure 11, Item 1) and tighten two nuts
(Figure 11, Item 4).
3. Secure slack adjuster (Figure 11, Item 7) and yoke (Figure 11, Item 6) together with pin (Figure 11, Item 10).
4. Install new cotter pin (Figure 11, Item 11) in pin (Figure 11, Item 10).
5. Rotate worm shaft (Figure 11, Item 9) until slack adjuster (Figure 11, Item 7) is tight against pin
(Figure 11, Item 10).
6. Tighten lock bolt (Figure 11, Item 8).
7. Adjust slack adjuster (WP 0176).
8. Start engine, apply parking brake (TM 5-3805-296-10).
9. Stop engine (TM 5-3805-296-10).
