REMOVAL CONTINUED
WARNING
Use caution when supporting hood. Use assistance during procedure. Keep clear of
heavy parts as they are supported. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or
death to personnel.
NOTE
When lower strut mounts are unbolted hood will no longer be supported.
Hood weighs approximately 190 lb (86 kg).
8. With assistance, support hood (Figure 3, Item 1) in open position and remove two bolts (Figure 3, Item 5),
washers (Figure 3, Item 4) and lower strut mounts (Figure 3, Item 3) from bosses (Figure 3, Item 2).
