NOTE
The procedure for left and right rear axle housing removal and installation is identical. Left
rear axle housing is shown in this procedure.
Note position of grease fittings to aid in assembly.
1. Remove grease fitting (Figure 1, Item 3) and elbow (Figure 1, Item 2) from rear axle housing
(Figure 1, Item 1).
2. Remove grease fitting (Figure 1, Item 4) from rear axle housing (Figure 1, Item 1).
