BRAKE SHOE INSTALLATION CONTINUED

Use caution when positioning brake shoes. Fingers may get pinched. Failure to follow this
warning may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Note retaining ring will need to be repositioned on camshaft during installation.
Install retaining ring and washer as noted during removal.
9. Using assistance, pry open brake shoes (Figure 21, Item 1) and position spacer (Figure 21, Item 2), washer,
(Figure 21, Item 5), camshaft (Figure 21, Item 6), washer (Figure 21, Item 3), and retaining ring
(Figure 21, Item 4) on rear axle housing (Figure 21, Item 7).
