HYDRAULIC SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE

1. Turn battery disconnect switch to ON and start engine (TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Lower scraper bowl to ground.
3. Retract ejector cylinder and disengage cushion hitch.
4. Turn ignition switch (Figure 1, Item 1) to OFF position,.
5. Turn ignition switch (Figure 1, Item 1) to ON position but do not start engine.
6. Relieve hydraulic system pressure by moving joystick (Figure 1, Item 2) and thumb lever (Figure 1, Item 3)
through full range of travel several times.
7. Turn ignition switch (Figure 1, Item 1) to OFF position.
8. Turn battery disconnect switch to OFF position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
