3. Slowly add 37 gal. (140 L) of hydraulic oil to hydraulic tank (Figure 3, Item 1).
4. Start and run engine at low idle for two minutes.
5. Move ejector to full forward position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
6. Ensure bowl is lowered to the ground with slight downward pressure (TM 5-3805-296-10).
7. Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-296-10).
NOTE
Hydraulic oil must be free of bubbles. If bubbles are present in oil, air is entering hydraulic
system. Inspect hoses and hose clamps.
8. Verify correct oil level on hydraulic tank sight gauge (Figure 3, Item 1).
9. Start engine and move ejector to fully retracted position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
10. Shut down engine (TM 5-3805-296-10).
