REMOVAL CONTINUED
19. Remove lock (Figure 6, Item 5) from gear housing (Figure 6, Item 1).
WARNING
Gear retaining pins and planetary gears can fall out of gear housing if gear housing is
tipped or set down with outer face downward. Failure to follow this warning may result in
injury or death to personnel.
20. Using assistance and lifting device, lower gear housing (Figure 6, Item 1) onto flat surface with outer face
facing upward. Remove lifting device and chain from gear housing.
21. Remove two forcing bolts (Figure 6, Items 2 and 6), washer (Figure 6, Item 4), and lifting link (Figure 6, Item 3)
from gear housing (Figure 6, Item 1).
