BRAKE DRUM REMOVAL CONTINUED
NOTE
Install alignment pins in bolt holes from bolts removed in previous step.
3. Install two alignment pins (Figure 10, Item 2) in wheel assembly (Figure 10, Item 1).
4. Remove 40 bolts (Figure 10, Item 3) and spacers (Figure 10, Item 4) from wheel assembly (Figure 10, Item 1).
Discard bolts.
WARNING
Use extreme caution when handling heavy parts. Provide adequate support and use
assistance during procedure. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury or death to
personnel.
NOTE
Brake drum weighs 140 lb (64 kg).
5. Using assistance, remove brake drum (Figure 10, Item 5) from wheel assembly (Figure 10, Item 1).
