ENGINE OIL COOLER INSTALLATION CONTINUED
NOTE
Lubricate new O-rings with a light coat of clean engine oil.
5. Install two new O-rings (Figure 14, Item 10) on sleeve (Figure 14, Item 11).
6. Install sleeve (Figure 14, Item 11) on bonnet (Figure 14, Item 1).
7. Install new gasket (Figure 14, Item 5), cover (Figure 14, Item 8), two washers (Figure 14, Item 6), and bolts
(Figure 14, Item 7) on bonnet (Figure 14, Item 1).
8. Install new gasket (Figure 14, Item 4) on bonnet (Figure 14, Item 1).
9. Install new O-ring (Figure 14, Item 2) and reducer fitting (Figure 14, Item 3) on bonnet (Figure 14, Item 1).
WARNING
Use caution when using adhesives and sealants. Prolonged inhalation of vapors can
cause lung irritation. Contact with skin can cause dermatitis. Wear gloves and safety
goggles and use product in a well-ventilated area away from open flame. If ingested, keep
individual calm and seek medical attention. DO NOT induce vomiting. If contact with skin
or eyes is made, flush thoroughly with water. Dispose of cleanup rags IAW local policy and
ordinances. Failure to follow this warning may result in injury to personnel.
NOTE
Install shutoff valve as noted in removal.
10. Install pipe sealant on shutoff valve fitting (Figure 14, Item 9).
11. Install shutoff valve fitting (Figure 14, Item 9) on reducer fitting (Figure 14, Item 3).
