1. Turn left turn signal OFF
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Turn mode switch on military light
switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
3. Turn battery disconnect switch to
OFF position (TM 5-3805-296-10).
4. Disconnect connector L-C2
(WP 0012, Figure 192) f
rom connector J-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 191).
5. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to step 6.
between connector L-C2
Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 4 (WP 0012, Figure 192)
Replace hood wiring harness
and connector L-C4 terminal A
(WP 0389).
(WP 0012, Figure 199).
Proceed to Test Step 13.
6. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 4.

2. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to step 3.

Resistance Greater Than 5.0 Ohms
terminal 60 (WP 0012, Figure 100)
Replace chassis wiring harness
and connector J-C1 terminal 4
(WP 0305).

Proceed to Test Step 13.
3. Using digital multimeter
Resistance 5.0 Ohms or Less
(WP 0540), measure resistance
Proceed to Test Step 5.
