Test Step 13. Test for Shorted Fuse
Panel Wiring Harness.
1. Install flood enable relay on flood
enable relay connector on circuit
breaker panel (Figure 10). Do not
install start relay at this time.
2. Disconnect connector CG-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 283) from
connector W-C8
(WP 0012, Figure 282).
3. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Replace fuse panel wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0515).
between connector CG-C1
Install start relay (Figure 10) and new
terminal 26 (WP 0012, Figure 283)
fuse F13 on circuit breaker panel
and all other terminals in
(TM 5-3805-296-10).

Proceed to Test Step 27.
(WP 0012, Figure 283).
No Continuity Proceed to step 4.
4. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Replace fuse panel wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0515).
between connector CG-C1
Install start relay (Figure 10) and new
terminal 26 (WP 0012, Figure 283)
fuse F13 on circuit breaker panel
and ground.

Proceed to Test Step 27.
No Continuity Proceed to Test
Step 14.
Test Step 14. Test for Shorted Main
Cab Wiring Harness.
1. Disconnect connector W-C16
(WP 0012, Figure 87) from
connector CL-C3
(WP 0012, Figure 86).
2. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Replace main cab wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0505).
between connector W-C8
Install start relay (Figure 10) and new
terminal 26 (WP 0012, Figure 282)
fuse F13 on circuit breaker panel
and all other terminals in
(TM 5-3805-296-10).

Proceed to Test Step 27.

No Continuity Proceed to step 3.
