Test Step 2. Test for Shorted Dash
Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Remove throttle lock LED from
connector P-C27 and install LED
on connector P-C26. Connect
connector P-C26 on instrument
panel (WP 0506) (Figure 3).
3. Remove upper and lower plenum
from ROPS (WP 0504).
4. Disconnect connector P-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 253) from
connector W-C7 (WP 0012,
Figure 252).
5. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Replace dash wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0510).
between connector P-C1
Proceed to Test Step 4.
terminal 26 (WP 0012, Figure 253)
No Continuity Proceed to step 6.
and all other terminals in
connector P-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 253).
6. Using digital multimeter
Continuity Replace dash wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0510).
