CORRECTIVE ACTION
NOTE
1283-03 Ejector Lever
Position Sensor Voltage
Always inspect harness connectors that are involved in the circuit. Poor
Above Normal
connections can often be the cause of a problem in an electrical circuit.
Verify that all connections in the circuit are clean and secure and that all
connections are in good condition. If a problem with the connection is
found, correct the problem and verify that this malfunction or diagnostic
code is active before performing this procedure.
Perform open or short-circuit test at each harness connection to identify
the correct harness to replace.
Tag all wiring harnesses to aid in installation.
Perform this test only if condition is active.
DIAGNOSTIC CODE SET CONDITION
Transmission/Chassis ECM Detects Above Normal Voltage on Ejector Lever
Sensor Circuit R750.
POSSIBLE CAUSE
Fuse Panel Wiring Harness High Resistance, Open, or Shorted.
Main Cab Wiring Harness High Resistance, Open, or Shorted.
Implement Control Joystick.
Transmission/Chassis ECM.
Test Step 1. Inspect Implement
Control Joystick Assembly.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Inspect implement control joystick
Joystick Assembly OK Proceed to
assembly for damage (WP 0503).
Test Step 2.
Joystick Assembly Damaged
Replace implement control joystick
(WP 0503).
Proceed to Test Step 9.
Test Step 2. Test Ejector Lever
Sensor Circuit, Battery + Circuit, and
Ground Circuit Function.
1. Disconnect connector CG-C15
(WP 0012, Figure 301) from
implement control joystick
connector (WP 0012, Figure 300).
2. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
