Position Sensor Voltage
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
Below Normal Continued
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Inspect implement control joystick
Joystick Assembly OK Proceed to
assembly for damage (WP 0503).
Test Step 2.
Joystick Assembly Damaged
Replace implement control joystick
(WP 0503).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
Test Step 2. Test Ejector Lever
Sensor Circuit Function.
1. Disconnect connector CG-C15
(WP 0012, Figure 301) from
implement control joystick
connector (WP 0012, Figure 300).
2. Turn battery disconnect switch and
ignition switch to ON position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
3. At MSD, check for active
1283-3 Ejector Lever Position Sensor
diagnostic code 1283-04 Ejector
Voltage Above Normal Becomes
Lever Position Sensor Voltage
Active Replace implement control
Below Normal (WP 0008).
joystick (WP 0503).
Proceed to Test Step 5.
1283-4 Ejector Lever Position Sensor
Voltage Below Normal Remains
Active Proceed to Test Step 3.
Test Step 3. Test for Shorted Fuse
Panel Wiring Harness.
1. Turn ignition switch and battery
disconnect switch to OFF position
(TM 5-3805-296-10).
2. Disconnect connector CG-C1
(WP 0012, Figure 283)
from connector W-C8
(WP 0012, Figure 282).
Continuity Replace fuse panel wiring
(WP 0540), test for continuity
harness (WP 0515).
between connector CG-C1
Proceed to Test Step 5.
terminal 66 (WP 0012, Figure 283)
